MAUREEN KEENAN

KEENAN Maureen Portreagh, Macken Died 10th June 2017 We, the family of the late Maureen Keenan R.I.P would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad loss. We are grateful to all those who attended her wake and funeral, sent sympathy and Mass cards, flowers and brought gifts to the home. A special word of thanks to her kind neighbours and friends who helped in the home and supported us in so many practical ways. Our heartfelt thanks to Drs John and Aisling Kirby and staff of Derrylin Medical Practice and to Peadar and staff of Mc Govern Pharmacy for their medical care and attention over the years. Sincere gratitude to Professor Kelly, Dr Keegan and the nursing staff of the SWAH for their upmost professionalism during her time there. We would also like to extend our appreciation to the carers who helped Mammy in her own home. We would like to sincerely thank Fr. Corrigan, Fr. Greene, Fr. Hannigan, Fr. Hannon and Fr. Mc Manus for concelebrating the Funeral Mass. Thanks to Fr. Dessie whose homily perfectly reflected Mammy's life and was a very fitting tribute to her. Thanks also to Fr Fitzpatrick for his spiritual support and prayers. Thank you to Eilís Scallon and those who accompanied her for the uplifting singing and music. Thanks to Kinawley GFC, St. Nailes P.S and Tattygar P.S for the guard of honour which was greatly appreciated. We express our gratitude to the undertakers Tom Mc Nulty and Peter Carty for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and to the gravediggers who prepared her final resting place. Thanks to Kinawley Community Centre staff who prepared the food and refreshments following the burial. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement serves as a token of our appreciation to all. Maureen's Month Mass will be celebrated in St. Nailes Church, Kinawley on Friday the 21st of July at 8:00pm.
