WALMSLEY Professor David George. The family of the late Professor David George Walmsley, son of Robert Gwynne and Elizabeth Walmsley née Johnston of "The Toney", Mullycavan, Rosslea, express heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with their recent sad bereavement. Sincere thanks to all who sent cards and letters of condolence, telephoned, brought gifts, attended the funeral service and the interment. We were especially touched by the beautiful floral tributes in memory of George. He had travelled widely and mourners came from Canada, England, Scotland and throughout Northern Ireland but George had a special place in his heart for Co Fermanagh, home of the cousins and friends who always welcomed him back so warmly and helped greatly with research and local information in his recent compilation of the Johnston family tree. We have been greatly comforted by your kindness and ongoing support. "The day thou gavest, Lord, is ended"
