Mc GOWAN Gordon Richard (Gordy), 8th February, 2018. The family of the late Gordon Richard (Gordy) Mc Gowan want to thank most sincerely all those who have sympathised with them during their recent sad bereavement. Thanks to all the kind neighbours and friends who called at the house, brought gifts, telephoned, sent sympathy cards and letters and to those who gave donations in lieu of flowers, they were kindly received. Thanks to the Doctors and Nursing Staff at Ward 1 for their care and attention, a special thanks to the Nursing Staff at the Critical Care Ward who provided excellent care to Gordy and support to the family. Thanks to Doctor Simon Forster for his dedicated care over several years, and the Practice Nurses and Admin Staff, also Corinna Collum and Staff of Lisbellaw Pharmacy. Thanks to Canon Stewart for his pastoral care and for conducting the Funeral Service at Derryvullan. Thanks to the Lisbellaw Veterans Group, UDR Association, USC Association and British Legion for their attendance at the Funeral and providing a guard of honour and citation at the graveside. Thanks to the Lisbellaw Veterans Group and the Ladies of Derryvullan Parish who provided tea and refreshements at the Church Hall. Thanks to John Graham (butcher) and Alan Moutray for providing meals to the family. Special thanks to Derek and Sharon Moutray for their friendship and support throughout. Sincere thanks to Marcus Madill, Funeral Director (M. D. Funeral Directors) for the caring and dignified manner in which the Funeral arrangements were carried out, also for his kindness, personal manner and support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that you will accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.
