MARGARET MONAGHAN

MONAGHAN Margaret (nee Morris) Drumcrin, Irvinestown The family of the late Margaret (Maggie) Monaghan would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. We were touched by the many people who telephoned, called during the wake, attended the Removal of the Remains and the Funeral Mass and helped in so many ways. It was comforting to see and hear from so many kind neighbours, friends and relatives. We are extremely grateful to those who sent Mass /Sympathy cards, messages of condolence, brought food, provided refreshments and made donations in lieu of flowers. Our thanks are extended to the Doctors, Nurses, Podiatrists and Staff from Irvinestown Health Centre, all the Carers from Lakeland Community Care and Care Plus, her sitter Doreen for their attention over the years and to the Marie Curie Nurse who attended to Margaret in her last hours. Their professional support, care and dedication was exceptional, and this was much appreciated by the family as this enabled her to be cared for in her own home. Thanks to the Staff in the Medical Hall pharmacy for their prompt, caring and efficient dispensing of Margaret's medication. The Doctors and Nursing staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast and The South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen are sincerely thanked for the care, attention and kindness shown to Margaret during her spells in hospital. We would like to thank Funeral Directors Claude McKervey and Patsy Dolan for their support to the family with the funeral arrangements; these were carried out in a professional, caring and dignified manner. A special word of thanks to Canon McGourty for his spiritual care and attention which brought Mum great solace and comfort during her last years and for officiating at the Removal of the Remains. The family appreciate the support given by Fr Frank McManus who conducted the Requiem Mass and provided words of comfort during the homily. In addition, we would like to thank the Eucharistic Ministers of the Parish who attended Margaret at home over the years and all those who participated in the funeral service 6th Fermanagh and other scouting groups who provided the guard of honour, Gerry and Aideen for their beautiful music and hymns, the Altar servers, readers, Eucharistic Ministers, and the grave diggers. Our thanks to the Parish Committee and the staff of the Bawnacre Centre for providing refreshments after the interment. Margaret is fondly remembered and loved by her family: Patrick (Kathleen), Marie (Tommy), Maurice (Agnes), Philomena, Paul (Faustina), David (Francis), Carol (Barry), Joanne (Mike) and her sister Philomena, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and entire circle of family and friends. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, so we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a heartfelt token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Margaret's Month's Memory Mass will be held in Sacred Heart Church, Irvinestown on Saturday 21st July at 7pm.
