Elizabeth Greene
GREENE Elizabeth We the family of the late Elizabeth Greene (nee Hughes) wish to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all who sympathised, supported and prayed for us during Elizabeth's illness and our recent bereavement. Elizabeth was a kind, generous and loving soul and a dearly cherished Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Colleague and Friend. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. To those who: sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers and messages of condolence, who left messages online, telephoned, visited, travelled long distances, gave donations to Marie Curie and who attended Elizabeth's Requiem Mass, we are truly grateful. Thank you to everyone who brought food to our home. Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours whose help and support has been invaluable. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route and to all the Guards of Honour that lined out for Elizabeth in Monea on the day of her funeral. Thanks to Fr. Cathal Deery and Fr. Charles Cross who visited Elizabeth at home, they brought great comfort to Elizabeth. We thank Fr. Deery further for his comforting spiritual support to Elizabeth and her Family, and for beautifully celebrating Elizabeth's Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan (John Duffy) and to everyone who took part in the liturgy. Thank you to Claire, Paul and Jim McGrath, Gerard McTeggart, Maria Cameron and the members of Derrygonnelly, Boho and Monea Choirs for the beautiful music. A special Thank You to Leanne (Damien McGovern and Sons Funeral Directors) for her extraordinarily caring guidance, we are forever grateful for your support and kindness at such a difficult time. Thank you Leanne and Rian McGovern and John McKeegan for undertaking all the funeral arrangements with such dignity and professionalism and to the Gravediggers for preparing Elizabeth's final resting place. Thanks to Devenish Parish Church for the use of the Reade Hall and to Saddler's Enniskillen for providing the lovely refreshments after the funeral. We send our grateful thanks to all healthcare professionals who cared for Elizabeth, especially all members of: SWAH Same Day Emergency Care (Dr. Ciaran Dolan) and Day Procedure Unit, the Treatment Room, Altnagelvin Dieticians, Ward 50, The Sperrin Unit (Dr. Malek) and Dr. Jentsch who visited Elizabeth at home. Thank you to Proinsias and Frances (Ambulance Service) and to Dr. Mallon and McConville's Practice. A special thanks to the Community Teams including; District Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Rapid Response, Palliative Care and Marie Curie for their care which enabled Elizabeth to remain at home. Thank You to all Staff Members in Hughes Pharmacy for all your help and support. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest appreciation. Elizabeth is forever loved and sadly missed. May her kind, generous, and loving soul be granted eternal rest. Elizabeth's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 24th March in the Church of Immaculate Conception, Monea at 10am.
