ROONEY William Thomas and May Olivia 14 January 2024 and 24 February 2024 respectively Daughters Linda, Janet and Families would like to take the opportunity to express their deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised and supported them following the death of their beloved Father, Grandfather, Willie and Mother, Grandmother, May. We would like to acknowledge those who paid respects in many ways, from visiting the family home, attending Ballycassidy Funeral Home, sending sympathy cards, making phone-calls and sending messages of support. We also appreciated everyone who was present at both funerals to offer their condolences. A special word of thanks to all the Doctors and Nurses at South West Acute Hospital for the care and attention given to our dad whilst in your care. Also a special thanks to the paramedics and staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital Accident and Emergency Department and the Acute Stoke Unit for the professional care and kindness shown to Mum. Our appreciation also to the staff of Florencecourt Surgery and Pharmacy and the other health care professional involved in the lifelong commitment and care of our parents. We would like to acknowledge and thank Dad's team of carers whose dedication and kindness provided Mum the valuable support needed in their own home. Thanks to Reverand Simon Donoghue for conducting both funerals and to Lorna Graham (organist) and the Mothers Union of Swanlinbar Parish Church for all their help in serving refreshments in the church hall. We would also like to thank our Funeral Directors, WT Morrison for the caring and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, also our gratitude to Norman Coulter and staff, Jeffrey Foster and the grave diggers at Knockninny Methodist Church. Finally thank you to all those who made donations in lieu of flowers, the Charities and Churches will benefit greatly from your kindness and generosity. It is impossible to thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.
