Anne Prunty
PRUNTY Anne (nee Leonard) Nutfield Road, Lisnaskea Who died on March 2nd, 2024. The husband Vincie, daughters Teresa, Brenda, Julie, Roisin, and Emma, and extended family of the late Anne Prunty wish to express their sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to all who have accompanied them through these recent difficult weeks and who have shown such thoughtfulness. A special thanks to all who travelled from far and near to Swift and McCaffrey's Funeral Home and the family home to offer their condolences, sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy, and made donations to Lost Paws N.I. and Pulmonary Fibrosis N.I. Thanks to everyone who supported the family in prayer during the funeral Mass and burial. Our good friends gave so much help to the family in many different ways, during the wake and afterwards and their generosity will always be appreciated. Anne's Funeral Mass was offered with great dignity in the most peaceful atmosphere and heartfelt thanks go to Canon Jimmy McPhillips, PP, Rev. Brian D'Arcy, a longtime family friend, and Rev. Patrick Rushe who concelebrated the Mass, to Rev. Maurice McMorrow who attended the burial and to the priests who called with the family in the days around the funeral. Sincere thanks go to Karen McElroy who provided the most beautiful music for the Mass, Kathleen Markey, the Eucharistic Minister, and all who helped at the church and in the cemetery. The family wishes to offer special thanks to Ollie, Leo, and Conor Swift of Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Directors, who guided the family and carried out the funeral arrangements in a most reassuring, professional, and dignified manner and to Paul Mohan for his care and kindness. The family was very moved by all those who marked Anne's final journey up the town by standing outside their homes, shops, the Bank Brea, and the churchyard. Their presence was deeply felt. It was Anne's very particular wish that sincere thanks be offered to the Ambulance Crew who attended her at home, to the Staff in A&E, and the Staff of Wards 1 and 8 in the South West Acute Hospital for their kind and comforting care in Anne's last days. Anne appreciated every little act of thoughtfulness and compassion, as did her family. A Mass of Thanksgiving will be offered for all who have touched the family with their kindness. ________ Anne's Months Mind Mass will be offered on Sunday April 7th at 11.00am in Holy Cross Church, Lisnaskea.
