AROUND 150 sheep were killed on Sunday when a lorry overturned on the Derrylin Road.
The driver, a 30 year old man, suffered shoulder, arm and wrist injuries, in the accident and was out of the lorry by the time emergency services arrived at the scene near Mackin.
Firefighters from Enniskillen and Lisnaskea stations used disc cutters and manual handling techniques to remove the dead sheep from the lorry.
The sheep that survived the crash were placed in a nearby field.
