THE melodic voices of young Florencecourt girls, Amy and Elise Henderson have featured on a mini album collated by their father, aiming to raise money for the prevention, treatment and cure of Cancer.

Following a busy Christmas of carol services and concerts, the talented girls - known as 'Youthful Chorus' - have successfully raised £500 from album sales.

They were accompanied by their parents Wesley and Sonia recently on a trip to the Centre of Cancer Research and Cell Biology at Queens University Belfast, where they presented their donation to Dr. Kienan Savage, Lecturer in Molecular Oncology.

The young girls' singing venture began after Wesley penned a song in memory of his mother who passed away from a terminal illness.

The album is called 'Songs of Reflection' and includes two tracks penned by Wesley and his two daughters, as well as their own version of the hymn, 'Amazing Grace'.

During their visit to the Centre of Cancer Research and Cell Biology, the Henderson family were given a very informative tour of the Stem Cell Laboratory and were shown the excellent research work undertaken towards the prevention of Cancer.

Here's the girls' stunning version of I see the Light from the Disney film Tangled.
