DETECTIVES are investigating a possible link between two 'creeper' style burglaries in the Augher area this week.
It was reported that sometime between 11pm on Tuesday night and 8am yesterday morning a house on the Favour Royal Road had been entered and the keys to two vehicles taken.
The two vehicles, a BMW 535D and an Audi Q7, were then stolen.
Shortly after 9.15am yesterday morning it was reported that a house on the Lisnawery Road had been entered and the keys to two vehicles taken.
The two vehicles, a BMW X5 and a Citroen Berlingo, were then stolen.
Detectives are investigating a possible link between these burglaries and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incidents or anyone who has any information about the stolen vehicles to contact detectives at Cookstown Police Station on 101.
“Information can also be passed anonymously via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111,” a PSNI spokesman added.
