Westville Family Resource Centre, Enniskillen recently moved to new premises in Nugent’s Entry.

The Centre marked this move at a recent fun event, when they held their annual exhibition of work which the parents and children do.

“W.F.R.C. was based in Westville Terrace since 1997 and had outgrown the premises,” explained Centre Manager, Doreen Mullan, who noted: “Moving to the unit in Nugent’s Entry will allow us to have our groups and offices in the one place thereby keeping the connection between families and the organisation in a more based like approach.”

She pointed out: “The core work we do through W.F.R.C. is in the home through the Lifestart programme but a big piece of our work has become linking the home to our groups and on into the community. The new premises will enable this to happen and new programmes to take place. Exciting times ahead with the challenge of sustaining the work we do with families in Promoting Positive Family Values.”

Doreen added: “The open event was attended by some of the families that avail of our services, partners in the delivery of the programmes, friends and supporters of the work we do. Here’s to the next 20 years and a big thank you to all who have and continue to support the work we do.”
