RECRUITING GPs in Fermanagh has been “an extremely difficult issue”, Health Minister Michelle O’Neill has said.

The topic was raised in the Assembly again this week this time by SDLP MLA Richie McPhillips who asked the Minister to outline any contingency measures her Department has taken in relation to the issue.
“I fully appreciate the challenges in GP-led services. There are particular challenges in rural areas. You have pointed to Fermanagh as an example, and that has been an extremely difficult issue,” said Minister O’Neill.
