Share Discovery Village near Lisnaskea is to benefit from £103,191.11 The investment under the Department of Education’s youth capital works scheme.

Education Minister Peter Weir explained: “Recent capital funding of £103,191.11 has been made available to Share Discovery Village youth organisation to upgrade the fire suppression system, access doors and heating system. This investment will enable improvements to be carried out across the youth service positively impacting on children and young people.

 “It is estimated that over £9million will have been invested in the programme of youth capital works in the 2016/17 financial year. This investment will enable improvements to be carried out across the youth service positively impacting on children and young people.”

In conclusion the Minister said: “I am confident that the substantial investment in capital projects will help in the drive to improve the infrastructure of youth provision and the completion of all of these works will ultimately provide better facilities for our children and young people. This ongoing significant investment also provides a boost to our local construction industry, helping to sustain jobs.”
