Fermanagh schoolchildren enjoyed a recent school day with a difference at Willowbridge School in Enniskillen. It was the venue for a successful STEM event, which received the thumbs up from pupils from three local schools.
The event hosted by Willowbridge last Monday, was attended by Holy Trinity Primary, Jones Memorial Primary and Willowbridge School itself.
Mr. Mark Burns, of Willowbridge, Extended Schools Coordinator, said the day’s aim was to explain what STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths - is about.
Mr. Burns, who was delighted with the event, said that overall 300 children attended.
Various organisations were represented at the STEM day, which ran from 10am to 2.30pm.
