A 27-year-old man appeared at Fermanagh Magistrates Court today accused of the manslaughter of Natasha Carruthers.
Ms. Carruthers, a 23-year-old mother of one, died after the blue Vauxhall Corsa in which she was a passenger collided with a tree on the Newbridge Road outside Derrylin shortly before midnight on October 7.
Appearing in court was Padraig Toher from Bawnboy, Ballyconnell, County Cavan. He faced a total of 10 charges, including unlawfully killing Natasha Carruthers and he was also charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily injury by driving a mechanically propelled vehicle dangerously on the Lisnaskea Road, Derrylin on October 7 and causing criminal damage to a motor vehicle belonging to Natasha Carruthers.
He was remanded in custody to appear via video link on November 15.
