On Tuesday, St. Mary’s Primary School, Brookeborough was closed and yesterday (Wednesday) Florencecourt Primary School was one of 280 schools closed as a result of the icy weather across Northern Ireland.
Snow disrupted travel and some areas, such as Bellanaleck on Tuesday evening, suffered a loss of electrical power.
The Met Office has issued further yellow warnings for snow and ice until the weekend.
