A film director from Enniskillen is accused of sexually assaulting an actress after visiting her flat to discuss a role in one of his upcoming projects, a court in London has heard.
Bafta-nominated Stephen Fingleton, 34, allegedly met the woman at the British Film Institute Festival opening gala in Leicester Square, central London, on October 4, 2017.
They discussed her possibly appearing in one of his projects before arranging a meeting at her flat several weeks later, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard this week. But it is alleged Fingleton assaulted the woman.
Fingleton indicated a “not guilty” plea to sexual assault and was bailed until his appearance at Isleworth Crown Court next month.
