An increase in entries led to a busy show for the Fermanagh Gardening Society (FGS) when they hosted their Annual Daffodil and Spring Show last Saturday.

The event was held on April 13 at Action Mental Health, New Horizons in Enniskillen.

A spokesperson for FGS said: “There was a huge increase in all classes this year and the aroma of the many daffodils added to the magnificent display on show.

"Upon entering the daffodil space, one was in awe at the many different species to be had - no longer just the plain yellow cupped daffodils!

“The Floral Art section had a huge array of fabulous artistic displays, and the General Flower section had some exceptional ones in the plant classes.

"The Artwork and Photography [sections] are relatively new classes, but nevertheless, they attracted many budding artists in the younger department.”
