Three Portora Royal School students are joint recipients of this year’s Harper Adams University/Portora Royal School Bursary.
The three, James Law, Jack McFarland and Darin Graydon, will be travelling across to the Shropshire based university in the next few weeks.
The bursaries were presented at a ceremony at the school last week attended by Mr. Basil Bayne, Student Support Co-ordinator of Harper Adams in Northern Ireland.
In addition, Harper Adams in Ireland, the alumni organisation for past students has presented a new trophy, a crystal award to the new West Fermanagh YFC which started in Springfield this week.
This Saturday, September 13, Harper Adams in Ireland will be holding their prestigous biennial dinner in the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen where prospective students, current students and past students from all over Ireland will be attending.
The guest speaker is Mr. Andrew Watson, New Holland’s Business Director for UK and Ireland.
