A loving husband, father and devoted grandfather, Mr. Cyril Jackson Graham of Cushwash, Lisnaskea passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Wednesday, December 10, 2014 following a short illness.

Cyril was born on February 9, 1943 to George and Margaret Graham of Cushwash, Lisnaskea, and was the third child in a family of four. Cyril attended the Moat School in Lisnaskea. After leaving school he went on to pursue a career in the Fire Service, and then the Prison Service. Prior to retirement he worked for Western Brand, in Lisnaskea.

His many interests included history, reading and old movies. He enjoyed collecting books and comics, a subject on which he was a fountain of knowledge. Cyril also had a great love of art and was a very talented artist himself. He was a quiet, selfless man, a true gentleman in every sense of the word.

Cyril’s funeral service was held at Holy Trinity Parish Church, Lisnaskea on Friday, December 12, 2014, and was conducted by the Rev. Alan Capper. The hymns were: “Oh Jesus I have promised”, “Shall we gather at the river” and “How great thou art”. Burial was in the adjoining churchyard.

Cyril is survived by his wife Vicky, son Ivor, partner Charmayne, daughter Lorraine, son-in-law Colin, daughter Wendy, son-in-law Derek, brother Sammy, and his seven grandchildren Lyndsey, Aaron, Dylan, Stephen, Jay, Ryan, and Harry. Cyril will be fondly remembered as a great family man, who truly loved his family, and he in turn was loved and will be sorely missed by them and the wider family circle.

The funeral arrangements were undertaken by Mr. Noel Robinson, Dowler’s Funeral Services, Lisnaskea.
