Man tired to dishonestly obtain alibi by text message

A 34-year-old man accused of trying to pervert the course of justice by mobile phone has appeared before a Preliminary Enquiry at Fermanagh Court.

Andrew William Wilson, of Cloughtogle Road, Tempo, is charged with attempting to send a text message to a person for the purposes of dishonestly establishing an alibi.

The offence was allegedly committed on June 11, 2011.

Wilson was returned for trial at Omagh Crown Court on February 5.
