Seamie Quigley hit 0-09 as holders Roslea secured their place in the McMahon Healthcare semi-final with a comfortable 0-13 to 0-04 win over Belcoo at Brewster Park on Friday night.

This was a repeat of last year's final but Roslea were always in control of matters, going in five points ahead at half time before pushing on to run out convincing winners against a disappointing Belcoo outfit.

Quigley was impressive but it was far from a one man show with James Sherry superb as Roslea dominated at midfield while defensively they were very strong with Belcoo struggling to find a way through an organised rearguard.

The Shamrocks went in at the break leading 0-08 to 0-03 with Seamie Quigley landing six points, four from frees, while Sean Quigley knocked over the other two. The Belcoo scorers in the first half came from Ciaran Flaherty, John Carrigan and a Johny Feeley free.

Roslea continued to boss things in the second half with Seamie Quigley adding another three points and Shane McMahon and Niall Cosgrove also chipping in with points while Flaherty landed Belcoo's only score of the half seven minutes from time as Roslea progressed.
