A woman in her 20s has sustained ‘serious injuries’ in a road traffic accident on the Boa Island Road this morning.
The accident, involving two vans, took place shortly after 11.20am, outside Belleek.
The injured woman has been taken to hospital. Three other males who were injured at the scene, were also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.
Police say the Boa Island Road between Belleek and Kesh remains closed and are asking motorists to expect delays and to seek alternative routes for their journey.
