SOUTH West College (SWC) has launched a new youth programme aimed at boosting the job prospects of local unemployed young people across County Fermanagh.
The SWC Youth Programme is designed to develop both the personal and employability skills of 16 to 24-year-olds who are currently unemployed or not involved in education or training, through a host of support and practical activities.
In addition to one-to-one mentoring and advice, participants can also look forward to volunteering opportunities, UK and USA based residentials, community projects, confidence and motivation building workshops and progression or signposting to appropriate training and/or work placement opportunities, whilst meeting new people and making new friends along the way.
Participants on the SWC Youth Programme will also get: EMA (if aged 16 to 18 years); travel and childcare costs (if applicable) and a daily lunch. Eligible candidates should also note that participating on the programme will not affect JSA/benefits.
For further information on the new SWC Youth Programme or to have a chat about options, contact: Enniskillen – Dermott Feely on 028 6634 2208.
