The grandson of a well-known member of the Fermanagh community got married recently in a Welsh bookshop.
Philip Sheridan, a grandson of Noble Sheridan, from Enniskillen, married Jenna Harries at Richard Booth’s Bookshop at Hay-on-Wye in Wales on Saturday, June 13, 2015. It was a double wedding as Jenna’s identical twin sister Joanne married Luke Shackley in a joint ceremony.
Philip and Jenna, who went on honeymoon to France, Switzerland and Italy, now live in the small Welsh village of Gwaun-Cae-Gurwen near Swansea. Philip currently works in customer care for Virgin Atlantic and Jenna works in education administration at the University in Swansea.
Noble Sheridan, originally from Co. Cavan, came to live in Fermanagh in 1951. An active figure in many organisations, he made his home in Enniskillen, where he continues to live.
The happy couples are pictured at the ceremony (above left).
