Dear Madam, - On behalf of the North West Education Action group, we are writing to say thank-you to everyone that supported our campaign to retain post primary education in North West Fermanagh over the last two years.
We are truly delighted with the Minister’s decision to remove the threat of closure on our school St. Mary’s Brollagh, which illustrates his support for our school and the local communities of Belleek, Garrison, Derrygonnelly and Belcoo.
We have received constant support for our campaign from all communities, local businesses and all public representatives throughout this process, we say a huge thank-you.
We look forward to the future now for our small rural community and the opportunities it brings for our young people.
The school has been given back to our community and now it’s in our hands to keep the school here.
This is a great example of communities working together and standing up for what we believe in and dreams can come true.
Yours faithfully, North West Education Action Group
