DEAR MADAM - It would appear, from experience, that the Treatment Room in the Health Village, Enniskillen, has not improved from the last century.
In the last week, having to visit it twice, arriving before 2 p.m. I had to wait over an hour to be seen, then the Nurse attending to my needs had to leave and change a dressing as there were only Junior Bank nurses there. Again a 15 minute wait which meant in total over 1 1/2 hours each time for bloods to be taken.
I have spoken to quite a number of people who I know have had to attend the Treatment Room. Quite a few gave up and walked out taking their chances and others expressed anger and frustration, questioning why in 2014 this service is like something from the last century?
