Dear Madam, - With so much criticism of the SWAH, I felt I needed to express my views of the SWAH after my recent unfortunate motorbike accident.
The care which I received from the ambulance service, the A & E department and the Ward 8 surgical team could not be praised enough. I spent six days in the SWAH and all staff from the surgeons, doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff all treated me with the utmost care and attention. I personally think the SWAH and staff does not get the credit they deserve, we should be extremely thankful that we do have this excellent hospital and staff in our community. SWAH should be praised rather than condemned.
I also would like to take this opportunity to thank all who called with me in hospital and at home, all who rang and sent cards.
