Enniskillen RGS 1st XV 5 Omagh Academy 1st XV 17
Enniskillen Royal Grammar School hosted Omagh Academy in a game which Omagh Academy team won by 17-5 thanks to a stronger second half. The Enniskillen boys were well in the game at the break but two second half tries sealed the game for the visitors.
Oscar Nelson opened the scoring for the Omagh Academy team when he took advantage of good work from Daniel Ritchie to touch down for a try. Kyle Beattie added the extras to put the Omagh Academy team into a 7-0 lead.
The Enniskillen RGS team responded with an unconverted try from Dylan Crawford to leave the visitors with a 7-5 lead at the break.
The Omagh team took the initiative at the start of the second half and, once again, good work from Daniel Nelson enabled Oscar Nelson to run in for his second try of the game.
The conversion was unsuccessful but the Omagh Academy team now had a 12-5 lead. Glenn McKinley then displayed great handling skills to send James Longwell in for an unconverted try which secured the 17-5 win.
