There was great success for local competitors at the Ulster Seniors and Veterans Championship at the Boat Club Belfast.
In the Senior Ladies A Doubles, Maggie Britton and Donna McSorley produced a fine performance to claim the title while John Maguire enjoyed double glory. Maguire won the Mens Over 45s Doubles with Willie Caldwell from Belfast and he was to add the Over 55s Mixed Doubles with Ellen McCartney from Bangor Chris Ciepulcha was another to tatse success as he won the Over 55s Veteran's Singles crown while Matthew McGann was runner up in the Over 35s Veterans Singles, losing out to Tony Davidson who he had beaten previously in the Indoor final.
Also finishing as runner up was JR Dundas who was beaten in the C Mixed Senior Doubles.
